Steak & Mediterranean Dill Tomato Salad

Here's a protein to go with our lovely tomato salad that was featured this month! This simple steak pairs perfectly with it!

Serving Size: Makes a 4oz serving of steak, with a 5oz serving of Mediterranean Dill Tomato Salad

Ingredients for Steak:

  • 1 (4oz) angus petite sirloin steak

  • 2 tsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder


  1. Use 1 tsp olive oil and rub into the steak. Season both sides with the salt, pepper and garlic powder. Let steak sit for a minimum of 30 minutes in the fridge and up to a few hours before cooking. 

  2. When ready to cook, pull steak out and let get to room temperature before cooking. 

  3. In a medium sized skillet, heat 1 tsp olive oil and add steak. Cook for 4 minutes on one side before flipping. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes on the other side for a medium steak. 

  4. Remove steak from heat. Cover with foil and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing. 

  5. Serve with a side of our Mediterranean Dill Tomato Salad.

Note: This is a very simple easy go to steak. Add any of your favorite seasonings, or your own go-to mix - Go for it!
