Pumpkin Spice Cake
Trying to stick to resolutions and cut out dessert and sugar, but missing something sweet? We have a legal pumpkin spice cake that will help fix that sweet tooth and it's a great option for when the holidays come back around and you want to join in on the festivities without all of the crazy sugar. It's so quick and easy to make, too!
Macronutrient Balance: 6g Protein / 6g Fat / 15g Carbohydrates per serving (this recipe makes 2 servings)
1/5 cup organic canned pumpkin (plain)
1 tsp pumpkin pie spice (no sugar added)
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 Tbsp almond butter (no sugar added)
Top with sea salt if desired
Mash banana in a microwaveable (cereal-sized) bowl
Mix in pumpkin and egg
Mix in almond butter until smooth
Add and mix in the spices and sprinkle with a pinch of salt (if desired).
Microwave on high for about 4 minutes
