Egg Drop Soup

Looking for a recipe that gives you a ton of protein without having to drink another smoothie or chew on another piece of meat? We've got you covered with this super simple, five-minute recipe that is perfect for cold weather. 


Macronutrient Balance: 32g Protein / 10g Fat / 1g Carbohydrate - this makes 1 serving  Ingredients:

  • 1 container of chicken bone broth (2 cups)

  • 2 eggs

  • 1/2 tsp ground ginger

  • 1/8 tsp garlic powder 

  • 4 chives - chopped into small pieces

  • salt to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a small saucepan, pour in chicken bone broth, ground ginger and garlic powder and bring to a boil. 

  2. While broth is boiling, whisk together two eggs.

  3. Once the broth is done/boiled, use a spoon to swirl the broth in a circular motion to create a whirlpool and slowly pour in "drop" eggs to create long ribbons. 

  4. Remove from heat, mix in chives and season with salt.
